This Japanese food restaurant is ISESADA that is located in Nihonbashi and very near to Mitsukoshi-mae Station.
I went there on the midsummer day of the ox. In Japan, On the day of the ox in midsummer Japanese have a custom to eat eel which started in the Edo period.

I hope i could eat it again.

Looks super delicious! When I visited Tokyo last time, I didn’t get a chance to have Unagi, now I know where to go next time!

Unajyu is one of my favorite Japanese dish. It needs a skill to cook eel soft and tender yet well cooked and each restaurant has their own eel sauce. I’d love to try Isesada when I visit Tokyo nest time 🙂

I like eel. In Japan, they eat it with special sauce based on soy sauce and sugar. The smell from the grilled sauce will stimulate my appetite.
