Tsukiji Sushi Ichiban

Tsukiji is the largest fresh seafood & fruit & veges market not only in Japan but in the world. This market is separated into two part, ” banai ” where  a professional auction sale is held, and ” bagai” that means tsukiji 4-6 area.

I’ve been there once when I lived in Yokohama. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to look at any fish shops because it was closed on weekends. However, I ate an amazing fresh row fish at some sushi restaurant. If I have a chance to go to Tsukiji again, I want to go the restanrant named ” Tsukiji Sushi Ichiban “. The popular menu of the resutaurant, ” Tekadon “, was once introduced by Japanese familiar food-related television program and won the first place on the ranking then.

If you are going to ovservate the auction sale called ” Seri “, you can check the schedule of it and how to join a tour on the following website.
