Tokyo Midtown is a sophisticated complex center in Roppongi standing on the site of the former Defense Agency with a luxury hotel, apartments, offices, a medical center, shops, restaurants, parks and art museums including Suntory Museum of Art. It contains six buildings set surrounded by beautiful greenery and supplies high-grade daily life in the heart of Tokyo.

The highest building is the Midtown Tower which is mostly occupied with offices, but the top floors of the building house a world-class Ritz-Carton Tokyo Hotel with some high-end restaurants and bars. The lower floors contain conference space, a medical center and a few shops.

The main shopping area is called Galleria which contains various stylish fashion brands, interior & design shops, a supermarket, Japan’s finest food shops, café & restaurants from casual dining to ones for special occasions, all in a four-storied building with a warm and spacious atmosphere.

Greenery is one of the best charms of Tokyo Midtown, and cultivating a positive environment considered as an important theme of them in order to become a sustainable facility. There are some parks surrounding this modern city center and providing a pleasant and relaxing moment for visitors and neighbors such as a Japanese style garden named Hinokicho Park, and Midtown Garden which offers a number of cherry trees that impressively bloom in spring.

Furthermore, at one corner of the garden, 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT is promoting exhibitions and workshops devoted to the theme of everyday life design in a low-rise building designed by well-known architect Tadao Ando. Besides it, you can also find many art works and sculptures here and there in Tokyo Midtown.

Tokyo Midtown is located directly from Roppongi Station of Toei Oedo Line, or 3 minute-walk from Roppongi Station of Hibiya Subway Line and Nogizaka Station of Chiyoda Subway Line.

Open daily from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm for shops, and from 11:00 am to 12:00 am for restaurants, but opening hours may vary from shop to shop.
