Tokyo Character Street is at the first avenue on the basement floor of Tokyo Station Yaesu side which features a lineup of over 20 official character shops and an event space called ‘Ichiban Plaza’. The street offers anything and everything in the way of popular character items. It boasts a variety of anime or other popular characters including some from overseas such as Pokemon, Hello Kitty, Snoopy, Ghibli, Moomin, LEGO, TOMICA, Ultraman, Rilakkuma, Shonen Jump, and a lot more. A Kabuki (classic Japanese dance-drama) shop is also there and offers lots of Kabuki items. Furthermore, it contains 6 shops specializing Japanese TV networks which are offering the related items of each TV station such as TV Asahi Shop with Doraemon goods, or Fuji TV Shop with One Piece goods.

At the event space ‘Ichiban Plaza’, it often introduces some character shops only for a limited time or held some special events.

Very close to the Tokyo Character Street, there are some cafes and restaurants as well as Ramen Street, so that you can easily get some rest or chill out yourself from the exciting shopping at the character street.

It is located on the basement floor of First Avenue Tokyo Station. As going through JR Tokyo Station Yaesu Underground Central Exit, you will find the character street on your left side.

The shops open daily from 10:00 am to 8:30 pm.
