Things to do in Ueno

Ueno Station is the terminal station for the Keisei Skyliner, but it is a massive terminal Station with Shinkansen, JR lines, and Tokyo Metro lines passing through. There are many cultural facilities around Ueno Park, and in addition to the National Museum of Nature and Science and Ueno Zoo there are other museums such as the Tokyo National Museum and the National Museum of Western Art.
Ueno Zoo features panda exhibitions and is packed with spectators. Ueno Park is famous for its beautiful cherry trees, and it is crowded every day in the Spring with visitors who have come to see the cherry blossoms.
Ameyoko, between Ueno Station and Okachimachi Station stretching west underneath the JR bridge, is a wholesale district featuring Over 400 candy, food, clothing, Sundry, jewelry, and other shops in a 400m area.
