Shinjuku Station has the highest single day number of passengers in the world. It is also the No. 1 or 2 shopping district in the city, with the west side (also called the Shinjuku Subcenter), an office district where you will find row after row of skyscrapers and hotels.

At the famous Isetan Department Store, you will find a wide selection of fashionable goods.

There are also entertainment districts Such as Kabukicho and Shinjuku Nichome, a gay-friendly area. Walk east from the station’s south gate and you will find the lush Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, where you can forget the hustle and bustle of City life.
