Things to do in Ginza

Ginza is known as an area where you can find old traditional stores, department stores, theaters, movie theaters, and famous stores all in the same place. Chuo-Dor Street, Ginza’s main Street, features row upon row of department Stores and fine dining and fashion hops.
On Sundays the street is closed to traffic and is bustling with pedestrians. NamikiDori Street has a more relaxed atmosphere and is home to many luxury brand shops. There are many cultural facilities as well, Such as Kabukiza Theater, a dedicated facility for staging Japan’s traditional kabuki art, the Tokyo Takarazuka Theater that holds public performances of Takarazuka revue, and theaters and movie theaters around the Yurakucho Station area.
