Things to do in Akihabara

Akihabara has changed with the times, from Electric Town with its home appliances and parts to specialty shops selling computers, records, CDs, and video games. Today it is a center for disseminating “OTAKU” culture such as Japans famous anime, figurines, and comics. It is called “Akiba” by Japanese.
On weekends, you can enjoy everything Japan’s Otaku culture has to offer, such as cosplay cafes where people dress up as anime and manga characters, and maid cafes where you are greeted by girls in maid outfits.
