As you notice, “Shibuya Niku Yokocho” is in Shibuya that has a bunch of stores, restaurants, and bars. If you go to Shibuya, you’d be astonished by the number of people or the density there. Whenever you visit Shibuya, there’re always so many people there.

“Shibuya Niku Yokocho” is one of the  places where popularity has been on the rise these days in Shibuya. “Shibuya Niku Yokocho” is a set of restaurants where meat is dealt with. “Niku” is “meat” in English, so it’s quite understandable if you guys consider the name.

It opened in 2010, and now it has 24 stores. The variation of the restaurants ranges―from Japanese “yakiniku”(grilled beaf) to even a bar where serves a chop of lamb and a glass of gin.

Shibuya Niku Yokocho has an epithet, “a theme park of niku(meat)”. Needless to say,  there’s no merry-go-around or roller coaster there. However, it’ll gives you a joy just like a theme park did when you were young if you love to eat meat.

The place is becoming popular even for young Japanese girls who are rather responsive to the trend, and the floor is expanding thanks to the rise in popularity.
