Nakamise Arcade
This is the arcade build along the main approach to Sensoji Temple, extending from the main gate, Kaminari Mon, to the main hall. Now more than 80 stores in the 250 meter arcade. Most of the shops sell souvenirs but originally they were started by people in the neighborhood of the temple who voluntarily cleaned its precincts. Later they were granted permission by the temple serve tea for the worshippers and to open shops.

    You can find many different Japanese souvenirs such
    as swords, Kimono, and etc. They have age-manju which is Japanese cake tempura.

    It’s very fun to look at all the sores with full of Japanese souvenirs. Also, the lighting of the street is beautiful in the evening.

    My family visited here a few years ago, and they all enjoyed sightseeing every souvenir store. It is great place to visit if you are looking for some Japanese souvenirs. It also shows a good example of Japanese culture and history.

    I enjoyed this street very much, because I could see many many souvenir shops along the street. Also you can enjoy traditional Japanese sweets here.
