Kin no Italian


Away from the busy street, after 3 minutes walk from Ikebukuro station, there is a casual Italian restaurant .

They serve dishes of the quality of a three-star restaurant in reasonable price. Although they use luxury ingredients such as lamb, lobster and foie gras, you will probably be surprised at the low price despite the quality of taste and the largeness of the portion.

This is the reason why this restaurant is always crowded even it is far from the main street and there are many other places to eat in Ikebukuro. Not only students visit here to save money, but also many office workers visit to enjoy the fine Italian dishes and wine.

The three things we highly recommend you to eat are: “the blue crab spaghetti”, “beef fillet with foie gras Rossini” and “carpaccio of seafood sent directly from Tsukiji fish market.” The blue crab spaghetti is limited to 5 dishes per day, so if you are lucky to be in time for this limited dishes, do not forget to order it!!

Of course, other dishes are also attractive. Pizza baked in the stone oven, so many kinds of appetizer, meat dish, spaghetti…every menu is made by the skilled chefs and you cannot decide what to eat!!

Focaccia and few cubes of cheese are served as small appetizer in the beginning, which goes well with wine.

They have over 80 kinds of fine selected wine, and bottled wine is also in reasonable price. You can also order wine by glass, and there are other drinks such as sangria, cocktail including some seasonal menu and soft drinks.

It is open until 11:30 PM from Monday to Saturday, and 11:00 PM on Sunday, so you can take your time eating and drinking. Enjoy your dinner, and don’t forget to save room for your dessert which is also delicious!!
