If you are a big fan of Washoku (traditional Japanese cuisine) and interested in learning how to cook it, why not try taking a cooking lesson at Japanese Cooking Studio Itadakimasu in Shibuya.
They are offering various cooking classes specialized in Washoku. As they provide the classes of Washoku cooking, they emphasize on enhancing their activities to protect the traditional Washoku culture which has been added to UNESCO’s intangible Cultural Heritage in 2013.

As they are providing some levels of cooking classes for Japanese speakers from the very beginners class to the advanced one, they also provides special cooking classes for foreigners some times a year and recently has become very popular. At the class, you can experience to cook 3 kinds of designated dishes with a professional instructor. From October 2015, the system will be a bit changed and you would be able to select 3 favorite dishes from 9 kinds of Kondate (menu) offered by the instructor. In addition, they would become to be able to flexibly arrange the date as you like from Monday to Wednesday. However, at least 5 students would be required to open a class. The classes are held with an English translator and also the English recipes would be available. The lesson fee is 10,000 yen per person.

The cooking studio is surrounded by quiet residential area, and you can enjoy your cooking experience in a calm relaxed atmosphere.
It is located 7 minute-walk from Gaienmae Station (Ginza Subway Line).
