This park is a place where vendors, musicians, artists and street performers gather on the weekends. Also on holidays the park is bustling with crowds who arrive to take in the lively atmosphere. Especially during the cherry blossom season the entire park is packed with visitors for hanami. However you will always find joggers, people walking their dogs or just having a good time here in the peoples park.

In the park there is a small temple dedicated to Benzaiten and Inokashira Zoo. There is a big central pond, Inokashira Pond, with several fountains, crossed by bridges and where you can also hire paddle boats and rowboats. At the southwest end of Inokashira Park you can find the Ghibli Museum.
