Edo Tokyo Museum

I think Japanese typical images like Samurai, Ninjya, Sushi are born in Edo period. In addition, Japanese cultures like Sumo, Kabuki, Ukiyoe are also created in the same period. So if you can learn about this period, you may know about Japan more. Edo Tokyo museum is a facility that has a theme of Edo history and culture. 無題

The museum has 7 floors and you can get a ticket on 3F. First, you will go up to 6F, the entrance for a permanet installed exhibition hall with elevator.


Edo zone 5F This is a real-size theater in Edo period, Shibai koya. People in Edo period enjoyed watching Kabuki there.


Edo zone 6F This is a real-sized bridge, Nihonbashi. You can see this right soon when you enter the hall and you might feel as if you are transported through time to Edo.
